Heirloom Titanium Compass (Gen 3)
Several graduate students on the CC staff designed the Heirloom Dual Sapphire Titanium Compass to guide them through life journeys. The frame is made from a single piece of grade 5 titanium. The top bail is free-spinning titanium for easy carry and will not bunch up in your pocket. This design is perfect for laying on a map to see through to your declination.
Gen 3 has a new buttery smooth free-flowing compass needle due to an improved design with new extreme accuracy and double-end convex machined pinion needle.
The indicator head is fully coated in Swiss Super-LumiNova® Grade X1, which is the brightest possible none non-radioactive phosphorous to date.
